How does the tongue diagnosis work?

Our AI-powered tongue diagnosis uses advanced computer vision models trained on thousands of annotated tongue images. The analysis runs entirely in your browser for privacy, detecting both global features (like tongue color and coating) and local features (like specific spots or cracks).

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Initial tongue image detection runs 100% locally in your browser using WebAssembly technology. These images are NEVER uploaded to our servers or sent to third-party AI providers unless you explicitly use AI advisory or image analysis features. When you use those features, images are sent to our AI service provider for analysis and are subject to their data processing policies. Only expert users can upload annotated images to our research database. Our AI assistant is powered by a proprietary TCM knowledge base built from curated clinical literature and expert annotations, ensuring responses are grounded in authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine sources.

What subscription plans are available?

We offer FREE, PRO, and PRO+ plans. The FREE plan includes basic tongue diagnosis with limited atlas access. PRO and PRO+ plans unlock unlimited atlas access, AI chat assistant, and data export features. Visit our Pricing page for detailed information.

Can I export my diagnosis reports?

Yes. PRO and PRO+ subscribers can export comprehensive diagnosis reports including images, detected features, AI analysis, and treatment recommendations in PDF format.

How accurate is the AI diagnosis?

Our models are trained on extensive datasets of expert-annotated tongue images. While highly accurate, the AI should be used as a diagnostic aid, not a replacement for professional medical judgment. Always consult with qualified TCM practitioners for medical decisions.
